Patricia came over for some portraits in her first communion dress, doesn’t she look adorable! I know first hand as a mom that it’s such an emotional thing to watch your child receive their first communion, all of those “whites” are a big deal! Meet tiny Jade, 4 pounds 10 ounces of gorgeous! We had so much fun today, she was a fabulous little model. We played with soft and pretty hats and even got her dad in a few shots to feature his tattoos, hence the sugar and spice :) Thanks for making a great prop dad and you didn’t even get peed on, it was your lucky day! Today Stella came back for her two month pictures, she’s gotten so much more animated in the last month! Stella is a once a month baby planner, right at the middle of every month she’ll be here for me to capture her as she grows. I am so enjoying seeing her development every month and coming up with creative ideas to make sure 13 months of pictures will all look different! Today Riley came back for her 3 month photo shoot. With the tiny 5 pounds and change she started with I was super thrilled to see all the pudge she has put on :) I think Riley remembered her newborn session because as soon as she got into the studio she wanted to fill her belly and sleep! I hesitate to show these only because it will likely never happen again that I get lovely sleeping shots of a three month old, crazy! Riley’s mom Lisa is one of my photography friends and we often go out shooting together, the last shot seemed only appropriate. Enjoy the sneak peek guys, much more to come…
Did you hear that? I think it was a baby BOOM! I don’t know if more people are having babies or if they are all just calling me but if you get my blog in your e-mail inbox this week you’ll get to see 5 newborn babies! Wow, life is good. Today I headed out to Huntington Beach to meet beautiful 7 day old Caitlyn! Caitlyn spent all night keeping her parents awake so I was sure if we waited her out long enough she would eventually sleep for me, her mom and dad weren’t quite convinced :) After way too much milk the little Diva finally slept. While she made us work for every shot, she was just so darn cute when we got her settled that it was totally worth the effort. Enjoy your sneak peek guys, I hope you get some sleep tonight!
Today I got to meet 6 week old Jackson, what a cutie! Six weeks is probably about the toughest age to photograph. They are suddenly super alert but not quite interacting with you yet. Given the obstacles I think Jackson and I, along with his expert baby calming mom and dad, did alright :) And is that not the best head of hair ever??? Enjoy the sneak peek, much more to come…

Today I got to meet another little Stella! Stella was a feisty one and thought she’d stay awake for her photoshoot but I eventually persuaded her otherwise :) Pictures of kids interacting with their new siblings just kill me, always. Yes… I’m a sap! Today Stella brought along her brother Max for a few photos together. Max was by far my youngest big brother at just 17 months. He was so cute with her I could hardly stand it. He thoroughly checked out her little tummy, her feet and even gave some kisses, crazy cute! I had too many pictures I wanted to share but tried to narrow it down a bit. This family is breeding heart breakers for sure! I mean look at these little brother, could they be cuter? I don’t think so :) You may remember this family from their awesome maternity session last month, today I got to meet little Teddy. Little Madelyn was back in the studio this week and she brought her 3 year old brother Collin along! He was so cute I could hardly stand it and you could tell just how much he loved her. He was gentle and calm, I must say I was super impressed. My littlest Vaughn is just a few months younger and a tornado in comparison to Collin, good thing he’s cute… we’ll keep him :) Enjoy the sneak peek.
