I got to photograph the most insanely cute baby girl today! Meet 9 month old Miss Sarah Grace, mom, dad, and her big buddy Winston. She was so precious I just wanted to pinch her cheeks. I had a bit of dejavu because Sarah reminded me so much of my niece Brooke as a baby! Brook is now a beautiful 15 year old but today’s shoot was a little like a trip back to the past for me. I’m curious to see if my sister in law agrees! I will admit Winston gave me a run for my money, but boy is he a beautiful dog. Enjoy the sneak peek mom and dad, lots more to come!

This past weekend I got to shoot a 50th birthday party, so much fun! All of Michael’s family and friends turned out, including what would seem his entire childhood neighborhood! Penny you sure know how to throw a party, enjoy the sneak peek!

Today I had the most amazing newborn session! This may be my fastest one to date, I was done taking pictures in just about an hour. I didn’t take a million shots but what I got was oh so good. Meet Landon, the most spectacular 8 day old ever! I shot his mom’s maternity pictures and we have been anxiously awaiting his arrival. Landon has just the nicest family and sweetest big brother, they were all really a joy to work with. Enjoy the sneak peek, more to come!

And more still from the Valencia High School dance team! This was my last group of girls today. I met them during their usual practice time at 7:00 am at the high school. Having to be anywhere at 7:00am ready to go for the day is something. These ladies do this everyday, all year long! I have a new found respect for the dedication they put in to being the very best. And an update- at last weekend’s Nationals competition the team won three national titles! A first for any of the high schools in the Santa Clarita Valley, Go Valencia!

I have been dying to get a family out to this location with the widflowers blooming! This is my sister in law with her very cute little family. When they asked to book a family session I knew just where I wanted to take them. One of the benefits, or drawbacks, or having your sister as your photographer is that you get to be guinea pigs for new locations. This spot photographed just like I hoped it would!
