Introducing the Valencia High School 2010- 2011 Varsity dance team! I met up with the team at Ventura Beach on Saturday where they were staying for a team building retreat. We had so much fun and took so many pictures it was nearly impossible to narrow down. The eight time national champion dance team is looking forward to an amazing year and is excited to welcome their new adviser Mrs. Brown. I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of them during the year, enjoy the sneak peek!
It’s that time of year again, high school dance show season that is! The Valencia High School Varsity Dance Team has a lot to celebrate this year after having an amazing season and capturing two national titles. And more still from the Valencia High School dance team! This was my last group of girls today. I met them during their usual practice time at 7:00 am at the high school. Having to be anywhere at 7:00am ready to go for the day is something. These ladies do this everyday, all year long! I have a new found respect for the dedication they put in to being the very best. And an update- at last weekend’s Nationals competition the team won three national titles! A first for any of the high schools in the Santa Clarita Valley, Go Valencia!

Today was insanely windy leaving us huddled in corners and doorways trying to get the shots we needed for the team’s upcoming dance show programs. The girls were such great sports! Meet the ladies, and gentleman, of the Valencia High School Dance Team! What a spectacular group of talented and bright young people. They have their big dance show coming up this Spring and needed headshots for their program and to display on the gym wall. I was happy to oblige and truly, they made my job so easy.
