I have been so blessed this Fall to have a full schedule of amazing families to photograph! The downside is I’ve gotten WAY behind on blogging! In an effort to catch up I’m going to do one HUGE post of some of the families I’ve photographed over the holidays. I’ll be sharing more sessions in the coming days. Enjoy~

Bud and Cookie have a big, beautiful family! What would any mom want for her birthday? A picture of them all together of course! Their kids decided that’s just what they would give her, the only problem was there are 18 of them, this was the only time they’d all be in town together, and it was supposed to rain all weekend! We scrambled to secure an alternate location… and I may have said a few (a lot) of prayers, well Saturday the rain held off just for us and we got their picture. The beautiful blond mom there is my friend Tracy, we have been pals since the 7th grade and I was honored to do this for her family. During our shoot Tracy told me she and her husband had never had pictures taken with them and their 5 kids, that’s right never! So Trac, you get a sneak peek of two. The bubbles in the last shot are courtesy their oldest son, love it. Gotta have a smart Alec in every bunch, it’s our oldest son around here too :) Enjoy the sneak peek guys, much more to come…

Yesterday I got to meet the nicest family! A few months ago Matt and Christine contacted me to arrange a photo shoot as their mom’s super secret Christmas gift. With each of their adorable families and grandma and grandpa in tow they made the trek out to Ventura Beach yesterday to meet me. It was a bit chilly out there but all of these little guys were awesome! Can you imagine how much fun Christmas must have been with four tiny grandson’s in town? They really were all so lovely and well behaved, our shoot was tons of fun. Enjoy the sneak peek guys, much more to come…

This lovely family was coming together to celebrate grandpa’s 70th birthday (yes really 70, but he doesn’t look it!) and we arranged for an extended family photo shoot with all the kids and grandkids. Extended family sessions can be a challenge with so many people to direct, but they could not have been easier or more pleasant to work with! Everyone was game for whatever I asked and that makes a shoot like this so much fun. Enjoy the sneak peek guys much more to come, and a very happy birthday to Ken!
