I so remember the excitement of being pregnant with my first child, that shift from being a couple to being a family. I remember the sleepless nights wondering if I’d ever sleep again ;) I remember having this profound realization that soon I would be someone’s mother. I remember that first Mother’s Day with my bun in the over, feeling like a member of the best club ever! Meet Karla and Desi expecting their first child in June. Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking maternity pictures for my friend Tess, the marketing director for our Santa Clarita Baby Network. Tess wanted to do her pictures weeks ago, I wanted to wait a few more weeks, so we compromised and met in the middle :) Not only is Tess a stunning mom to be but a truly lovely person too. She brought along her two favorite guys, as well as lots of props! We had a great time and her little one Trent stole my heart! Could he be cuter? I can hardly wait to meet his baby sister. Today I got to do a maternity shoot for the most adorable family! Mom had a duffel bag full of wardrobe changes for everyone, she thought about line, color, texture… um, did I die and go to heaven? I captured some beautiful images of her today but I had to share a bunch with their son Christian. Could he be any cuter? Seriously I was smitten, the boy had me at hello.
