I think preg­nancy is such a mag­i­cal time. When I was preg­nant, while of course I felt like a whale, I also felt beau­ti­ful and very hum­bled by the amaz­ing thing my body was doing. I wish every preg­nant woman could see how beau­ti­ful she really is and just embrace that time because she will miss it when it’s over. Yes, if you know me you know I’m a total sap. I’ve never met a baby I didn’t like and I’ve never met a preg­nant woman who’s belly I didn’t want to rub. Meet Jes­sica with her gor­geous red hair. I can hardly wait to meet baby Colette! While in Las Vegas last month speak­ing at a con­fer­ence I had the plea­sure of being able to pho­to­graph a cou­ple of preg­nant pho­tog­ra­phers so I’ll share Autumn and Tiffany’s pretty bel­lies here too.

Meet Jen­nifer and David, they are eagerly expect­ing the arrival of their first baby in Jan­u­ary. Jen­nifer wanted to have her mater­nity pic­tures taken at the Hyatt where her baby shower was being held. From the looks of the way every­thing was shap­ing up I’m sure it was about the most amaz­ing shower I’ve ever seen. It was evi­dent how much these two are loved by their friends and fam­ily and how excited every­one is for this baby.

Meet Jenn! Jenn will be hav­ing her baby Jack­son any day now, I’m glad we were able to get her mater­nity shoot in before the big day. Jenn’s hus­band Steve wasn’t able to join us because he’s recov­er­ing from very seri­ous injuries suf­fered in a motor­cy­cle crash in Decem­ber, keep their lit­tle fam­ily in your thoughts and prayers. I’m absolutely cer­tain Steve will love these! Jenn– you look beautiful :)

This was such a fun mater­nity ses­sion! Amanda did a great job in pick­ing out clothes so we had tons to choose from. My favorite thing though was just watch­ing Adam and Amanda inter­acted, watch­ing the way he looked at her. You can just feel how excited they are to meet their baby, as am I. The last shot with the one­sies is some­thing Amanda’s mom made for her shower, how cute is that??? Enjoy~

Never have two peo­ple been more excited or more ready to wel­come a child! Steve and Erin have been hop­ing for a baby for ten years, and now here they are. The thought of that kind of over­whelms me, what a lucky, lucky baby :) I can hardly wait to meet you!

I love to cap­ture expec­tant par­ents just before the birth of their first child. I remem­ber what an excit­ing and joy­ful time that was for us nearly 14 years ago. Meet Far­rah and Arthur, they’ll be wel­com­ing their first child some­time in Jan­u­ary. Far­rah was just glow­ing and I just loved the way Arthur looked at her!

This lovely cou­ple is expect­ing a baby girl any day. Can you feel how excited they are? I under­stand this lit­tle one has quite the amaz­ing nurs­ery to come home to as well as a house full of sib­lings. I can hardly wait to meet her :)
