Recently I had the priv­i­lege of pho­tograph­ing a very spe­cial lit­tle girl named Kylee through the char­ity orga­ni­za­tion Inspi­ra­tion Through Art. Kylee suf­fers from mito­chon­dr­ial dis­or­der which causes a com­plex mul­ti­tude of health ail­ments. Kylee has a feed­ing and a drainage tube and wears a lit­tle back­pack that holds her nour­ish­ment. She has a hard time tol­er­at­ing heat and cold so we did her ses­sion here in my stu­dio. Kylee’s sib­lings all suf­fer from mito­chon­dr­ial dis­or­der in vary­ing degrees but Kylee is the most severely affected. Kylee was back in the hos­pi­tal just after our ses­sion. While I hear she is doing well I hope you’ll join me in prayer and well wishes for her con­tin­ued recovery.
