Meet gorgeous 7 day old Freyja! Freyja was just so dainty and sweet, what lovely, delicate features she has. A few days after our session Freyja brought back her 14 year old sister Isabel for some sibling pictures. I thought a lot about how I wanted to pose them to capture their bond. While photographing the two of them I had one of those moments that just took my breath away. It was just as I’d envisioned, I love it when that happens! Enjoy Freja and Isabel~
Juliana was back for her 6 month pictures, she has grown so much since her last shoot and was just so, so cute! I’m sure I’ve mentioned it a thousand times but I’m a sucker for sibling pictures. With my own children it’s just so difficult to get everyone looking at the camera and looking great in one photo. Make that 3 children all under 5 and yup, it’s a challenge I’m determined to overcome! I just love what I got of Juliana and her siblings Caleb and Avery. They were all super sweet and cooperative, gold star for the bunch! I also love the sweet and airy springtime outfits we had for Juliana. Enjoy~
You may remember Steve and Erin from their maternity session a few months ago, well baby arrived and it’s a Ryann, not a Ryan! I could not have been more excited for them and more thrilled to take part in this journey. For 10 years they’ve hoped and prayed and tried for a baby, and well… here she is. Seriously, is Ryann not the cutest, most beautiful baby you’ve ever seen??? What a gorgeous girl, and so adored too. Ryann thought she’d stay awake for our photo session but eventually succumbed to my charms, though we got some great awake shots of her too. Steve and Erin weren’t exactly picture ready but I kind of insisted on some first family photos. I promised I’d make them look great! Honestly, I didn’t have to do anything to these, how can you not look beautiful with that kind of love in your eyes, hair and make up done or not. Enjoy guys, it’s been a pleasure.
I knew this session was going to be fun after their maternity session, and it was! Meet handsome Tyler, and his sweet big brother Ethan who will be celebrating his first birthday this week. Photographing newborns with older babies and toddlers can be dicey but Ethan could not have been any cuter with his new brother, success! Tyler thought it was hilarious to stretch himself out and uncurl himself every time I tried to pose him but he’s so cute I’ll let it slide :) Enjoy.
It’s that time of year again, dance show season! Every year I photograph the Valencia High School varsity dance team for their big year end show. This year’s show will take place April 29th and 30th, come on out and support our national championship high school team. We’ll be there with bells on to watch all of the amazing dancers of the Santa Clarita Valley including of course my lovely daughter who dances for Studio 1 dance academy as well as the Waves Jr High All Stars! Cassel was back for his 10 month pictures, I can hardly believe how fast the year is going!!! I convinced his mommy they needed outdoor family photos, oh how I love getting outside this time or year! And… I love Cassel, so great combination :)
I recently had the opportunity to photograph the most wonderful family! What made their maternity and newborn photo shoots so special is this was their first ever family photos. Prepare to see lots– this family, along with their sweet twins Alejandro and Andres as well as newest addition Adrian, deserves to be highlighted a little. Adrian was a bit of a miracle baby and the whole shoot was overwhelming in such a wonderful way, the love between them just jumps out of the camera. Enjoy.
