Stella was back for her 10 month shots, it’s hard to believe how fast time is flying by! It was a cloudy day verging on rain and I was telling Stella’s mom Cheryl that this is the type of weather I learned to shoot in many, many years ago. While a bright gray sky can be rough for color photography with black and white film in hand it’s perfection. I almost blogged this session entirely in black and white but I thought Cheryl would like to see some Christmas color. Enjoy :)
I looooove photographing spunky kids, even better when their parents are fun too :) I could not have asked for more with Bentley and Palmer! Sweet, well behaved, loads of fun and game for anything I asked of them. This is just the type of family session I enjoy, one that goes beyond posed photography and really shows some personality. Enjoy.
I had the pleasure of photographing another photographer’s family while they were here vacationing in Southern California, Megan Wilkinson is an amazing photographer in the Davis/Sacramento area. you must look her up in you live up North! If you have busy, active, preschool aged boys, as I do, you know how difficult in can be to get them to stop and look at the camera. Multiply that times two! I won’t lie, photographing 4 year old twin boys was a bit like herding cats :) I hope we captures all of the joy, fun, love, and excitement of raising twins! Megan– you have a beautiful, sweet family and it was truly a pleasure.
Meet gorgeous two week old Emily! Isn’t her hair just to die for? She’s so dainty and pretty she looks like Snow White :) Emily was a last minute addition to my calendar and I’m so glad we were able to make it work! This time of year my schedule is just so, so full… I think it was a little holiday miracle we were able to get her newborn session in before she got any older. Enjoy the sneak peek, much more to come…
