Today I got to shoot headshots for a dancer, made for some interesting opportunities! Meet Trevor, he is an amazing dancer and choreographer and my daughter and nieces are so lucky to get to learn from him.

This last weekend I got to shoot a wedding! It was so much fun to be part of this family’s special day. Now I just have to sort through the hundreds of photos my second photographer Angie and I shot on the dance floor, oh my! Being a mom I know that if there’s a sneak peek of pictures to be had they’ll want to see the kids, right? So here’s a little teaser, congratulations La Guisa– Riedeman Family!
Don’t get me wrong, chasing little ones and bribing them to look at the camera is fun and all but a more than willing model is such a nice change of pace! This little beauty is Haley, she’s quite a busy little actress. I was so happy to take her new headshots and some fun, more artistic shots for her dad too.

First, into every newborn session a little pee must fall! It’s true. If you plan to photograph cute little naked babies they will pee and poop on you, their mom, their dad, you name it. This little beauty did not disappoint. Mom, Dad and I just wiped and laughed our way through this session. I’m sure the Dad was wondering what the heck I had gotten him into. With results like this though what’s a little pee? This session was so much fun and this little baby girl was truly perfect in every way.
Now for the second part of the two– fer. This little family had lots of out of town guests coming in to see their beautiful new baby. Well one of their out of town friends decided that she would love to have some pretty pictures taken for her husband while she was here. So we went out and took some headshots yesterday and had such a great time. Thanks Melonie and Sharon, hope that flight back to Washington goes smoothly. Here’s a little sneak peek:
