You may remember Cassel from his newborn photoshoot, today he was back for some 2 month shots. 2 months may be the very hardest age to capture because babies this age are just, well, unpredictable! My shoot with Cassel was brief but just look at all the great expressions he gave me! I think Cassel is a little ladies man in the making, what a shameless flirt :) Oh, and this little christening tuxedo was made for Cassel by hand so obviously it had to be featured. Today Riley was back for her 6 month pictures, make that 7 and a half months… her mommy wanted her sitting up well :) You may remember Riley from her newborn and 3 month photoshoots. Today I got to photograph the cutest girls, meet Liv and Leila!!! I don’t think I’ve ever photographed a little girl in a tutu before and in the last week and a half I’ve had four, must me something in the water! I thought I’d show many of these images in black and white but all the pink and little Leila’s gorgeous hair… I just couldn’t do it. Today Stella was back for her 6 month photos, hard to believe she’s 6 months already… it seems to be going so fast! Stella and her mom and dad brought in some specials people for this shoot, both grandmas! I just love extended family shoots. I cannot believe it’s been a year since these two little pumpkins were born! You may remember Trinity and Serenity from their newborn session. They were only three and four pounds when I photographed them, just look at them now! These girls just cracked me up today. As their mom explained they are mirror twins and always do the opposite of each other. One cries, the other smiles, one crawls one way, the other goes the opposite direction. Well I am back from my family vacation in Cancun and trying to get back in the swing of things! I’ll share a bit of my adventure at the bottom of this post. Yesterday I had the pleasure of having Sarah Grace back for her two year pictures. You may remember Sarah Grace from her 9 month and one year photo sessions. I can hardly believe she’s two years old! Sarah Grace is a favorite of mine for sure, since the first time I met her she reminded me so much of my now 16 year old niece Brooke, and still does! And if you wondered where Sarah Grace got her beauty you can see her here with her mom, nana, and great granny… 4 generations of lovely ladies!
Back to our vacation, we really had the most amazing time! Traveling with four small kids is an adventure for sure, add to that some snorkeling in the Caribbean coral reef barrier, (yes, all 6 of us!) swimming in underground rivers, exploring tidepools, hiking through ancient pyramid ruins, as well as some crazy weather and you get the idea! Traveling with kids can be so hard but really worth it. I took a million pictures I still need to sift through but here’s one :)
Today I got to photograph beautiful 9 day old Gabriella! What a sweetheart! She was a fabulous sleeper and had the cutest little cry I’ve ever heard. Since she slept so well we made use of our time and had a little hat fashion show :) Enjoy the sneak peek, much more to come…
