Meet gorgeous 3 week old Claire and her sweet big sister Caroline. 3 weeks can be a tough age to get pictures but I’m so, so happy with the final results. Caroline was just darling with her little sister, best friends already.

Meet sweet brand new baby Harlow! Harlow brought along brothers Hudson and Jaden for her shoot, wow, were they fun! They giggled their little hearts out and loved on that baby every chance they got. What a lucky girl to grow up with brothers like this. Harlow was sweet and easy, unbothered by the commotion around her. A perfect girl for a family with two active boys.
Meet sweet Colette. Colette was so great for our session and such a beautiful baby, sigh.
I just love it when I get to watch families grow! You may recognize big sister Brinley whom I’ve photographed 3 times as a baby and toddler. Brinley brought her new baby sister Brielle for me to meet. Brinley was so proud and so sweet with her sister. Enjoy sweet Brielle and Brinley.
Before a portrait session with me I ask clients to fill out a brief questionnaire so I know what their preferences and expectations are. On the form there’s a notes box that asks you if there’s anything specific you’d like, a certain mood or feel you’d like to capture. Emily’s mom wrote “She’s precious and perfect and that’s what I would like to convey ;-p” Precious and perfect about covers it :) Maybe pretty and plump too! Enjoy sweet Emily~
Meet Ellie. She is precious, with oh so chubby cheeks and big eyes. What a darling baby girl.
And some mommy bragging… Last week my littlest Vaughn turned 5 years old! Crazy that my baby is five. He keeps us on our toes for sure, but he is such a joy and blessing. In other news, I tried to take some artistic shots of my littlest two together and yeah… my days may be numbered for this type of thing :)
And lastly, it was dance recital weekend around here! All the dance moms out there know this means two full days of dress rehearsal and dance shows, exhausting but fun. My daughter had 8 different numbers and 8 different costumes this year. She sprained her ankle on Easter and we were touch and go all week, but I’m happy to say she pulled it off. I couldn’t be a prouder mama of my beautiful Julia.
Babyhood is so short. I love what I do because I get to freeze all the little nuances of being brand new. Gia is pudgy, and so soft, her little hair is fuzzy, she smells so sweet and… new :) Gia also has a big sister that just adores her. By the time Gia has memories of Sophia, Sophia will be a teenager… but, with these images we were able to catch “it”. All that love and pride is right there in Sophia’s eyes, in the ways she hold Gia and breathes her in. I love it when this happens, when a picture goes beyond someone posing for the camera.
And since I’m already being a complete sap today, we’ll just keep it rolling. This is my son Luke, he turned 8 years old on Saturday. I have no idea how the time has sped by so fast. Luke is so smart, he’s exuberant and joyful, he’s a caring friend and a great brother. We are so blessed to have him. And before you ask, yes I really gave birth to him. There were no Swedish nanny surrogates involved :)
Meet sweet little Ace, what a darling expressive face he has! I thoroughly enjoyed photographing him and spending the morning with he and his sweet mama. The shot on the brown is a new favorite, what a gorgeous boy.
I am so behind on blogging but I’ve had a string of beautiful newborn boys I must share. They ranged from 6 pounds to over 10 pounds, one week to four weeks, what they all have in common is an exceptional amount of gorgeousness :) Enjoy Deegan, Michael, Christian, and Ayden.
Sweet little Lily is a bit older than my usual newborns at 3 weeks. This age can be rough but things went surprisingly smoothly. I was so thrilled to be able to squeeze her in and capture these images for her family! I’ve actually had quite a few older newborns this month I’ll be sharing shortly but for now enjoy gorgeous little Lily.
