2013 is off to a very busy start and I am so far behind on blogging! I’ve set a goal for myself to catch up over the next few weeks, there’s just too much cuteness not to share it! 2012 has been such a fantastic year! I had 94 portrait sessions this year and had the pleasure of photographing 37 brand new people. Many of my former newborns came back to see me for milestones and family sessions. It is such a joy to be able to capture the very first portraits of so many children, I am truly honored by the trust families place in me. My own little family continued to prosper and grow, I am truly, truly blessed.

 

 

Now that Christmas cards have all been mailed I can share my own family photos for this year :) I photographed my own four children for my cards and the entire fun, boisterous, crazy extended family for my mother in law’s cards. Photographing my own children is never dull, it often requires cocktails… but there’s nothing I love more than pictures of my own babies. Oh… and I always love outtakes, plenty at the end of this post! Enjoy~

This is the family of my gorgeous cousin Kristy. I can not tell you how many of my clients have asked me about Kristy and her kids in the last 6 months. Kristy tragically lost her husband Ross to a heart attack last March when she was 6 months pregnant with little Jessie. We shot Jessie’s newborn session in June along with Ross’s teenaged son, Kristy’s 3 teenaged daughters, and then 15 month old Ricky. Well here they are back again, and look how these two have grown. Both babies are so sweet and joyful and just such a blessing. I would love it if you’d all continue to pray for Kristy and her kids, I’m so proud of the strong mama she is.
